New Hope Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Please see below for a brief introduction to our Team.

Pastor Jeff & Teresa Wheeler

Lead Pastor & First Lady

Pastor Jeff was appointed to the lead pastor position in May 2024. Prior to that, he served as lead pastor for the Camelot Community Church in Hazelwood, NC.

Jeff and Teresa have served God in ministry within various capacities, including youth ministry.

They have a love for people and seeing individuals come to the saving grace of Jesus, as well as assisting others in identifying and developing their personal walk with the Lord.

Jamie & Kim Gardner

Minister of Music & Visual Coordinator

Jamie and Kim hath served God faithfully, being directly involved in pulpit ministry and leading worship in within several locations.

Jamie displays a passion for worship and is comfortable in almost any musical environment. Kim uses her understanding of computers and her love for the visual arts to add context to the worship experience.
